A scholarship for women planning graduate study in economics or finance. Recipients may also be offered a work opportunity and mentoring at the Bank of Canada.

Who can apply
You must identify as a woman, be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and be in the final two years of an undergraduate program with an average of at least 70%, or have completed an undergraduate degree with an overall average of at least 70%. You must plan to pursue a master's degree in economics or finance. Applicants already enrolled in such a master's program are ineligible. English or French is essential; the posting specifies a Reliability or Secret security level.
How to apply
Apply through the Bank of Canada posting with a résumé, a personal statement of no more than 500 words explaining why you want further education in economics or finance and what you hope to gain from the scholarship and work experience, and your undergraduate transcripts. Current students may use official or unofficial transcripts; graduates must provide proof of completion and an official transcript. Applications and documents are due September 27, 2026 at 23:59 EST, as printed by the provider.
