Doreen Kronick Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship from the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada (LDAC). LDAC describes it as available to post-secondary students with learning disabilities, and says it may be awarded to someone pursuing graduate study at a university that will assist students with learning disabilities. Applications are due June 30 each year.

Who can apply
LDAC gives two descriptions of who can receive it. The scholarship is available to post-secondary students with learning disabilities who are enrolled in full-time or part-time study programs. It may be awarded to a person who is pursuing a program of graduate study in a university that will assist students with learning disabilities. Applications are reviewed according to these criteria: the student's future educational program leading toward assisting persons with learning disabilities; a satisfactory academic record; and the student's contribution to their community and campus life. You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Recipients are not eligible to reapply for three years.
How to apply
Download the application form, which asks for your contact details, university, program and academic year. Attach your past and current academic transcripts, a list of accommodations for your learning disabilities, and a reference letter. Send it to the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada so it is received by June 30. Under "Send your application to", LDAC lists its Ottawa mailing address, its phone number and info@ldac-acta.ca.
