Awards for students at British Columbia or Yukon post-secondary institutions studying environmental management or a related field. SWANA's Pacific Chapter selects recipients, with funding from Ecowaste Industries.

Who can apply
You must be registered in a full course of studies in environmental management or a related program at a recognized post-secondary institution in British Columbia or Yukon, and have completed at least one year of post-secondary study. Recipients of a 2025 SWANA scholarship are ineligible in 2026. Selection considers the connection to solid waste management, academic performance, school and community activities, related work outside coursework, a written submission and references. SWANA members and their immediate relatives may receive preference.
How to apply
Email the completed 2026 SWANA Pacific Chapter scholarship form and supporting documents to scholarship@swanabc.org. Include a written submission of 500 words or less, your transcript or previous year's marks, a faculty reference letter and proof of registration for Fall 2026 or Winter 2027. Packages must arrive by November 13, 2026; recipients are to be notified by December 15, 2026.
