Who can apply
The research category accepts employees, professors, research assistants and undergraduate or graduate students at Canadian colleges or universities. Submissions must concern research connected directly or indirectly to decentralized wastewater treatment, such as research projects, laboratory tests or pilot-study reports.
How to apply
Complete the application form on ESTEN's applied research guidelines page. Attach your research paper or research summary as a letter-size PDF in 10- or 12-point type, and paste an executive summary of no more than 500 words into the form. Graphs and pictures are optional. Provide the required contact details and project title. Applications close December 31, 2026; finalist selection is scheduled for February 25, 2027.
