Who can apply
Emerging BC artists aged 18–32, currently studying Fine Art at a recognised Canadian post-secondary institution or within 24 months of graduating with a Fine Art degree. Emerging means early professional development and not earning the entire living from artwork. Solo exhibitions only. PoMoArts staff, instructors, sitting board members and their immediate families are excluded.
How to apply
Complete the linked 2027 form: two artistic references, cover letter, CV, a one-page exhibition proposal, artist statement and biography of at most 125 words each, and up to ten artwork images with the required image list. Past-work samples are required. Confirm availability for the August 12–October 24, 2027 exhibition, installation, opening reception, pickup and progress meetings listed in the form; explain conflicts. There is no application fee. Funds support artwork and a solo exhibition.
